The emphasis was on helping the client develop a capability to forecast and plan for its workforce in order to realise a new business strategy and mitigate risks associated with a new funding model requiring different key roles.

The organisation expected to have to shift from providing broad community services to a more targeted program of disability services.  At the same time it was also sustaining a 20% turnover rate and had no visibility of what was the right workforce to retain and where skills needed to be developed.

The workforce planning workshop process brought together leaders from across the organisation and equipped them with a methodology to forecast and assess critical talent gaps, speeding up decision making over specific workforce strategies.
