The Driving Force Behind Workforce Insight

David Stroud is the Director of Workforce Insight Pty Ltd, and a specialist in operating model design and workforce strategy. David is an accomplished partner, project leader and management consultant with a diverse background in leadership and management, having held senior managerial roles in Defence, Government and Professional Services.

Using his background in research, systems analysis, public policy, economics, modelling and project management, David has worked across Australia helping organisations change the way they think about their organisation, analyse their future needs, and develop compelling strategies to reduce risk and achieve organisational success.

David spent ten years in the Commonwealth Government, researching, developing and implementing solutions to labour market issues in fields such as organisational effectiveness, funding, workforce planning and national training system operations.

Since 2011, David has led and delivered consulting engagements with a diverse range of private and public sector organisations such as one of Australia’s leading resources companies, banking, services industry, insurance, taxation, major Local Government entities, three WA State utilities, education, a major health services organisation, a large community services organisation and multiple State Government agencies.
